In addition to practicing 21 years as a board certified pediatrician, Lindy Woodard, M.D., brings the practice of homeopathy to Pediatric Alternatives along with a strong background and interest in nutrition. She attended medical school at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine, did her residency at Milwaukee Children's Hospital and completed course work at The Institute of Classical Homeopathy in San Francisco. Her children Sam and Abby have inspired her to always learn more about parenting and pediatrics.
Dr. Hillary Fredrickson, ND received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine in Seattle, Washington from Bastyr University, the leading accredited academic and research center of natural health. Naturopathic doctors are educated as primary care physicians and receive classroom training in basic sciences, clinical sciences and diagnostics. In addition, she has received extensive training in natural medicines and therapies. Hillary's primary interests are pediatrics and women's health.
Hillary joins the physician team as a primary care naturopathic physician for both children and adults. As the mother of two young children, she recognizes the importance of optimizing the health of children and promoting wellness in addition to supporting them when ill. She has done extensive study in homeopathy, herbal medicine and nutrition. She is excited to be a part of this dynamic practice and looks forward to meeting you and your children.
Stacia Lansman, M.D., is a board certified pediatrician, graduating from Tufts University Medical School in 1989 and completing her pediatric residency at Children's Hospital of Oakland in 1992. She studied herbal medicine at The Pacific School of Herbal Medicine. Her two young children Rachel and Rebecca continue to be her greatest teachers.
A Bay Area native, Sarabenet graduated from Tamalpais High School and the University of California at Berkeley before moving east to attend medical school at George Washington university. Having been raised with alternative medical traditions, she continued her studies in homeopathy and nutrition while attending the George Washington University School of Medicine and during her residency and chief residency at the University of California San Francisco. She has received her certification in Primary Care Homeopathy from the American Board of Homeotherapeutics.
She has a special interest in preventing and treating allergic diseases like eczema and asthma.
